Mark got saved in Christ in 1987 while studying an engineering degree, and began his active ministry in 1990 as a Christian missionary to Indonesia under the covering of Youth With A Mission.

In 1995, he returned to Australia to serve at Hope Christian Church Melbourne, which is affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches (ACC). He served with Hope church as a full-time pastor, helping to raise elders and other pastors, from 2002 to 2023, and became the Pastor of Evangelism and Missions in 2017. Since 2015, he has led annual mission teams to remote First Nation communities across Australia.

During his full-time tenure, Mark slowly transitioned from an internally focused pastoral and church-planting role to being led by God into the marketplace, and to raise marketplace disciples. This shift allowed him to share lived-out truths and bring God’s kingdom into the arts and business sectors.

Currently, Mark works in his 23-year-old business as the founder and director of Iconic Colours, and has a street gallery in Melbourne CBD where he sells his art, and is also the Senior Advisor to Jaramer Legal, Australia’s first national Indigenous law firm, a joint venture with a reputed global law firm.  He also serves as an itinerant minister-preacher doing workshops, camps, and conferences wherever God leads. His home church is LIFE Church in West Melbourne, Australia.

Mark’s passion is to raise disciples who know their Christ-identity and destiny, empowered by God’s Spirit to find and release their unique kingdom calling in society. Mark also has a heart to bring mission teams to bless Australia's First Nation, remote communities.
